The lower fairing is delivered with a heat-resistant foil and drain plug already installed. The heat-resistant foil protects the fairing from heat generated by the exhaust pipe and engine. The drain plug ensures smooth drainage of liquids from the bottom when washing your motorcycle. Material used: GFK FLEXI fiberglass in white RAL 9003 with 3 x KK (Kevlar-Carbon) reinforcements at the attachment points. The material's heat resistance is 100°C. The fiberglass has a standard RAL 9003 white color in the GFK base material and is UV stable, so painting is unnecessary. All parts are ready to use. The fairing holes are not pre-drilled but indicated. Why fiberglass fairings? They offer up to 50% weight savings over original ABS bodywork and are considerably cheaper. They are more flexible and easier to install on a motorcycle.
