The lower fairing is delivered with a heat-resistant foil and drain plug already installed. The heat-resistant foil protects the fairing from heat from the exhaust pipe and engine. The drain plug ensures smooth drainage of liquids from the bottom when you need to wash your motorcycle. Material used: GFK FLEXI fiberglass in white RAL 9003. 3 x KK (Kevlar-Carbon) reinforcements at the attachment points. The material's heat resistance is 100°C. The fiberglass has a standard RAL 9003 white color in the GFK base material and is UV stable, so painting is unnecessary. All parts are ready to use. The fairing holes are not pre-drilled but indicated. Why laminate fairings? They mean up to 50% weight savings over original ABS bodywork and are considerably cheaper. They are more flexible and easier to install on a motorcycle.
